CONCRETE JETTY WRECKED. RAIN DELIGHTS PASTORALISTS. By Telegraph—Press Assn—Copyright. Rec. 7 p.m. Perth, March 30. A cyclone to-day swept Onslow, a small town on the north-west coast. Many houses were destroyed. A concrete jetty 2500 feet long at Beadon was wrecked. Nearly seven and a-half inches of rain fell in ten hours. Telegraphs are out of action and the district is isolated. Severe floods in the Wiluna district, over 700 miles north-east of Perth, disorganised railway services. Pastoralists are overjoyed at the rain, which was badly needed.
