ATTACKED BY COW
WOMAN’S DEATH CAUSED. HEART FAILURE IN HOSPITAL. Hamilton, March 23. The death occurred in the Waikato Hospital to-day of Mrs. Britta Albertina Graham, aged 58, wife of Mr. John Thomas Graham, .farmer, of Puketaha, as- the result of being attacked by a cow. Mrs. Graham was assisting her daughter, Miss Vera Graham, to drive a young Jersey-cross cow from one paddock to another near her- house on March 15. The cow-had a two-day-old calf with her, and it was intended to take the calf away. The cow turned on Mrs. Graham and tossed her, then running away. Mrs. Graham was admitted to the Waikato hospital suffering from shock and bruises. She had had a strained heart, and death was due to heart failure. Deceased had lived in the Puketaha district-for many years.
