Hurley, Pearce, Watson and Blackie. .It was decided to send letters of thanks to Messrs. W. A. Hurley, Parsons and Langdon for assistance in connection with transport for the annual picnic. A visit is to be paid to the senool early in April. Cribbagc Series. The first of a series of crib evenings was held on Tuesday, there being a large attendance. Supper was in the hands of the ladies’ committee. • Prizes were won by Mrs. W. Hurley and Mr. R. Lethbridge. Runner-up prizes were won by Miss N. Lee and Mr. A. H. Parkinson. ■ Waitotara huntsmen are looking forward to the hunting season, which opens on April 7. A few keen members of the Egmont-Wanganui Hunt Club gave the hounds a -un last Saturday on Mr. Brewer’s property.
