FAIR TO FINE WEATHER

IMPROVEMENT IN TEMPERATURE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The weather is still expected to be fair to fine and warm in most districts, with light showers likely in the extreme north and south and fog on parts of the east coast. An intense anti-cyclone still extends from the east over New Zealand, while a westerly depression is located over eastern Australia and a tropical cyclone is centred between Fiji and Samoa. Moderate north-east to northerly winds, becoming strong in exposed positions, are expected. Seas will be rather rough north of East Cape and about Cook Strait, otherwise moderate.
