WELLINGTON TOWN HALL TO LOSE MANY FEATURES.—The Town Hall will present a very different appearance when the tower and portico have gone and ornamentation work has been shorn away. The white line round the top of the building indicates approximately what will be the new roof line, for the triangular pediments as well as the parapet are to be removed. The Wakefield Street entrance will also be modified.
