GOVERNMENT ORDERS TWELVE. TWO TO BE SHIPPED NEXT JUNE. London, March 17. Sir James Parr, New Zealand High Commissioner, announces that New Zealand has ordered 12 Vickers Vildebeest torpedo bombers fitted with Pegasus engines, the first two to be shipped in June. The new machines, which will be the first of their kind in New Zealand, will carry a standard torpedo, and can cruise at 125 miles per hour at 5000 feet. At 3000 feet they can travel at 143 miles per hour, and they have a ceiling of 19,750 feet and a cruising range of 630 miles. They will be stationed at Wigram and Hobsonville. '
