SPORTS AT WELBOURN
ANNUAL SCHOOL DAY HELD. There was a large attendance of adults and children at the annual sports of the Welbourn school. The children were provided with ice-creams, sweets and soft drinks and afternoon tea for the adults was served by a ladies’ committee. Miss Anthony (headmistress) and Miss Simpson were in charge of the sports.
