FUNERAL OF MR. BOUCHER
VICTIM OF AEROPLANE CRASH. TRIBUTES PAID AT AUCKLAND. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, March 20. . The funeral of Mr, E. R. Boucher, president of the Auckland Aero Club and victim of the flying tragedy near Wellington, was very largely attended this afternoon. The service at the residence at Epsom was conducted by the Rev. C. G. Scrimgeour, former club captain. At the Waikaraka cemetery the numerous clubs, local bodies and trading concerns. The floral tributes required special conveyances.
MR. L. W. SWAN IMPROVING INJURIES TO NECK AND FACE. Wellington, March 20. Wellington Hospital reports an improvement in the condition of Mr. L. W. Swan, who was injured in the aeroplane crash among the hills to the west of Island Bay on Saturday morning, when the pilot, Mr. E. R. Boucher, was fatally hurt. Mr. Swan’s injuries were received about the neck and face. The hospital authorities stated last inight that he was not in a serious condition and was recovery. . *
