KORITO SCHOOL PICNIC

GATHERING AT KAWAROA PARK. RACES FOR THE CHILDREN. The annual picnic of the Korito school was held at Kawaroa Park on Thursday. The weather was fine and warm and almost every family from the district attended, the children being conveyed to the park in cars. An hour was spent at the swimming baths and later a programme of sports took place. Fruit, sweets and prizes were provided by the committee. Skipping: Girls over 10, Betty Weston 1, Jean Hine 2, Iris Herbert 3; girls under 10, Mabel Nielsen 1, Patsy Miller 2, Rene Smith 3.
