The Kaitoa is due at New Plymouth from Tarakohe this morning, and is to put out 50 tons of cement before sailing the same day for . Tarakohe. (Cock and Co.). The Holmglen has been replaced by the Holmdale, which is to load at Lyttelton to-day and is due at New Plymouth, via Wellington and Wanganui, on Friday. (Hooker Bros.). The Kini left Dunedin on Friday and is due at New Plymouth to discharge general cargo to-morrow. She will sail the same day for Westport (U.S.S. Co.). • - The Kaimai is to leave Greymouth today in place of the Kartigi, and is due at New Plymouth via Westport, Wellington, and Napier •on Tuesday. She has 300 tons of coal to discharge. (U.S.S. Go.). The- Hauturu is due to leave Onehunga to-day for New Plymouth and Wanganui and is to arrive to-morrow, sailing later in. the afternoon. (Northern Co.). HOLMGLEN’S CARGO. New Plymouth cargo to have been brought from Lyttelton by the Holmglen, which was damaged by striking a rock off Akaroa, will be brought from Lyttelton by the steamer Holmdale, which usually trades only as far north as Wanganui. The vessel is . due at New Plymouth on Friday. Waikato cargo from the Holmglen will be brought north by the John. The New Plymouth agents, Hooker Bros., understand the Holmglen’s cargo is undamaged. . . MOVEMENTS OF OVERSEAS SHIPS. BALAKLAVA. The Shell Oil Company’s chartered tanker Balaklava arrived at New Plymouth yesterday morning to discharge 1600 tons of bulk spirit. Captain P. Levan is in command and his officers are: Chief, Mr. O. W. Nilsson; second, Mr. E. G. Lindberg; third, Mr. S. Olsson; wireless operator, Mr. E. Olsson; chief engineer, Mr. V. Larsson; second, Mr. G. Malrun; third, Mr. N. Karlsson; fourth, Mr. P. Varfvinge; fifth, Mr. O. Offershom. The vessel is to sail this morning for Balik Papan. OPAWA ARRIVED. Direct from Falmouth, the New Zealand Shipping Company’s vessel Opawa arrived at New Plymouth yesterday to load 29,825 freight carcases of meat, 5000 boxes of butter, and 5200 crates of cheese before sailing on Friday for Auckland.
