DY Order in Council, made and issued by. His Excellency the GovernorGeneral in Council on the 17th day of October, 1933, under the authority of the above Act, it was determined that the duty by way of Income-tax, leviable under section 3 of the said Act, should be paid in one sum on Thursday, the Bth day of February, 1934, at the office of the Commissioner of Taxes, Government Buildings, Wellington, C. 1.; and, in accordance with such Order in Council, I hereby give notice that the said duty will be payable accordingly. Additional tax will accrue if the tax is not paid on or before Ist March, 1934. The liability to pay is not suspended by any objection. The tax should be paid on or before the prescribed date, otherwise the additional percentage accrues; any over-payment will be adjusted by refund. The demands will be posted from the office of the Commissioner -of Taxes on or about 2nd February, 1934. HPHE NURSES and Midwives Registra- "*■ tion Amendment Act, 1933, requires each registered Nurse, Midwife and Maternity Nurse within three' months of changing her address to notify the Registrar of her new address, and provides a penalty on conviction of not more than £1 for any person who fails to comply with this requirement of the Act. It also provides that the Board may at any time take action under certain conditions to strike off the various rolls the names of those persons who desire to have their names removed and also those persons who cannot be found at the address appearing against their names in the register. Each registered Nurse, Midwife and Maternity Nurse is hereby requested to forward at once to the undersigned a statement giving her full name and permanent address, and also to state whether she is at the present time in the active practice of her profession.
