TANKER FOR NEW PLYMOUTH. The Shell Company has chartered the 81)36 ton Swedish motor-tanker* Balaklava to, bring a cargo of motor spirit to New Zealand. The Balaklava left Singapore last Thursday and will discharge at Auckland, New Plymouth and Dunedin, reaching Auckland about February 5. She is due here about February 10. KENT LOADING. . It is expected that the Federal steamer Kent will have completed her NewPlymouth allotment to-morrow. She will sail from New Plymouth, probably on Sunday, for Wanganui.

MAGDALENE VINNEN ARRIVES. The German four-masted barque Magdalene Vinnen arrived at Auckland yesterday. The vessel is from Seychelles Islands, via Townsville, Queensland, and she has 4600 tons of guano, of which 3600 tons will be unloaded at Auckland and the remainder at New Plymouth.
