COALITION FORMED IN SPAIN

LERROUX SUCCEEDS BARRIOS. IMMUNITY FOR JUAN MARCH. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, Dec. 16. The President of Spain, Senor N. A. Zamora, has accepted the resignation of Senor Martinez Barrios’ Cabinet. Senor Lerroux has formed a Coalition Government.

The Cortes has approved the election of Senor Juan March, the multi-million-aire who escaped from prison to Gibraltar, meaning that he is immune from arrest if he returns to Spain.

FASCISM NEARER IN SPAIN.

EFFECT OF RADICAL COALITION.

Rec. 11.50 p.m. London, Dec. 18. The Madrid correspondent of the Daily Herald describes Senor Lerroux’s Cabinet, in which there are ten Radicals, as a distinct encouragement to Fascism. M. Lerroux has enlisted the support of all the reactionary groups in order to secure a majority to meet the fierce opposition of the 60 Socialists. The supporters of Senor Lerroux will demand pardon for all political prisoners, enabling all the exiled supporters of past dictatorships to return to Spain, whereupon Fascism will be definitely nearer.
