London, Dec. 17.

British toy-making is one of the brightest of the expanding light industries. Over 25,000 workers are employed in 510 factories, most of whom have working overtime for some months to cope with the Christmas demand. The product of the industry in 1933 is estimated at £42,000,000. Employment in the industry shows a 25 per cent, improvement’ over 1932, production 35 per cent., and exports 40 per cent.
