HUIA DUE TO-DAY. The schooner Huia left Auckland on Saturday for New Plymouth, and is expected to arrive to-day. She has a quantity of explosives to discharge before sailing for Greymouth, Nelson, Wellington 'and Dunedin. TAINUI DUE THURSDAY. The Tainui is due at New Plymouth on Thursday in continuation of her New Zealand loading itinerary. She is to lift 5000 crates of cheese and 5000 boxes of butter before proceeding on Friday to Lyttelton and Port Chalmers. '. KENT TO LOAD. The Kent is due at New Plymouth on January 22. She will load 26,400 freight carcases of meat, 12,000 boxes of butter and 7500 crates of cheese. PORT MELBOURNE IN JANUARY. The Port Melbourne, largest of the Port line, is due at New Plymouth on January 7 from London direct in ballast.
