FLUCTUATIONS IN PRODUCTION.

Wellington, Dec. 16.

The Dairy Produce Board received a cable from Australia to-day stating that the price of butter for shipment to England next week has been fixed at 8d for finest and 7id for first grade. Beneficial rains have fallen in Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland. Victorian production is decreasing, but New South Wales is increasing and Queensland is rapidly increasing. Other Stated show a decline.
