PLAN FOR EMPRESS OF BRITAIN. British Wireless. Rugby, Dec. 15. The liner Empress of Britain, which sailed from Southampton for New York after the annual overhaul, will after the cruise from New York to the West Indies proceed on a 30,000 miles trip round the world, taking 124 days. This is the Empress of Britain’s third round-the-world voyage. Passengers to New York in the vessel included Mr. Bingham, the United States Ambassador to Britain, and Mrs. Bingham, who will spend Christmas with their family. The ambassador will return to London in February.
