By Telegraph—Press Association. ■Wellington, Nov. 1 A public meeting of 700 in the Town Hall last night passed a resolution strongly condemning the closing of . station 2ZW by the Government, and demanding that the same services be maintained from the station as before, with the same hours of transmission and the same staff, so as to preserve the individuality of the station. The meeting also passed a resolution expressing indignation at the intention of the Government to abolish sponsored programmes, thereby depriving B stations Vj of their only revenue, and demanded that B stations be allowed to gain revenue by using 30 words advertising in any JO minutes. \
