TENNIS COMMITTEE'S DANCE. A very successful dance was held in Clifton Hall on Thursday night undei the auspices, of the Waitara seaside tennis court committee. . About 70 couples were present. The receipts amounted to £lO. Supper was supplied and Vinsen’s Ambassador Orchestra Supplied excellent music. Extras were played by Miss O. Stevens and Mr. J. Newman. Mr. R. Grant was the master of ceremonies. The Rt. Rev. C. A. Cherrington, Bishop of Waikato, will conduct a confirmation service in St. John’s Hall, Waitara, on Monday evening. Twenty-one candidates from the Waitara parish will be confirmed. Candidates from St. Luke’s Church, Tikorangi, will be amongst those confirmed.
