Burma’s first air mail from Landon left Croydon on September 23 in the Imperial Airways liner Hensist. In addition to, approximately, 60,000 letters, the air liner carried 29 passengers, en route for various points along the 7200 miles track. The schedule was tor an 3-day flight to Rangoon, once weekly in each direction. .
