Miss M. McDonald, who has been the guest of Mrs. G. Alexander, has returned to Tauranga. Mrs. Nicolls, Inglewood, is the guest of her mother, Mrs. Cleary. On Tuesday Mrs. G. Spratt was hostess at a bridge party given in honour of Miss M. Burke, who is at present her guest. There were four tables in play, those present being Mesdames Graham, Wallace, Dickie, Barrow, Mathieson, Harvey, Hodson, Matthews, Nicolls (Inglewood), Alexander, Tennent and F. R. Palmer, Misses Cleary and Matthews. Mrs. Tennent and Mrs. Wallace were the winners of prizes for the highest and lowest scores respectively and Miss Burke won the lucky number prize.
