BOXING AT GISBORNE
TWO PROFESSIONAL MATCHES. By Telegraph—Press Association. Gisborne, Last Night. Two professional bouts were held by the Gisborne Boxing Association this evening. In a lightweight bout of six rounds Johnny McKay (Gisborne) outpointed B. Estans (Australia), and in a six-round welterweight bout Gus Fitzmaurice (Gisborne) outpointed Clarrie McKnight (Hamilton). In amateur bouts Maxim (Hamilton) drew with Matchett (Gisborne) and Waugh (Gisborne) beat Faulds (Hamilton).
