The South African Veterans’ Association’s conference to-day elected the following officers for the year: President,. J. I. Goldsmith (Wellington); secretary, Mr. J. H. E. Tilling. Major P. E. de 8., Brandon, the retiring president, was elected a life member and accorded a gold badge in recognition of his valued services over a number of years.
