"THAT NIGHT IN LONDON”

REUEASE TOR EVERYBODY’S. WITH TUNEFUL MUSIC. Around the story of a village bank clerk who sought adventure in London a great deal of adventure and all the other species of entertainment can enter. This Is precisely what occurs in “That Night in London,” a British picture released by Paramount which wifi screen at Everybody’s Theatre on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. There is some very pretty music and lyrics from the pen of Peter Mendoza, one of . the bestknown English composers, running aH through the picture. The stars are Robert Donat and Pearl Argyle who are becoming increasingly popular in Britain. There wfll be the usual good supports. “FALSE FACES” AT REGENT LOWELL SHERMAN THE STAR. ■STORY OF MEDICAL QUACKERY. ‘False Faces” is not as the title may suggest a drama of domestic deceit, but the story of the fake pretence of a medical charlatan under the impressive name of plastic surgery. It tells of a doctor, unethical almost from his graduation, fired from a hospital for racketeering in fees, who goes to Chicago (the home of the face-lifting racket) and, within a few short months, is raised to a prominence that makes it impossible to pick up a paper or turn on a radio without hearing his name. Lowell Sherman is the doctor and his appearance in the title role is an indication of some entertaining acting. ‘False Faces” shows at the Regent to-night, Monday and Tuesday.
