There wfll be the usual good supports. “FALSE FACES” AT REGENT LOWELL SHERMAN THE STAR. ■STORY OF MEDICAL QUACKERY. ‘False Faces” is not as the title may suggest a drama of domestic deceit, but the story of the fake pretence of a medical charlatan under the impressive name of plastic surgery. It tells of a doctor, unethical almost from his graduation, fired from a hospital for racketeering in fees, who goes to Chicago (the home of the face-lifting racket) and, within a few short months, is raised to a prominence that makes it impossible to pick up a paper or turn on a radio without hearing his name. Lowell Sherman is the doctor and his appearance in the title role is an indication of some entertaining acting. ‘False Faces” shows at the Regent to-night, Monday and Tuesday.
