GOOD MYSTERY DRAMA
“SECRET OF THE BLUE ROOM.” SCREENING AT OPERA HOUSE SOON It is some time since New Plymouth theatregoers have had an opportunity of seeing a really good mystery drama, so that the booking of “The Secret of the Blue Room” for the Opera House on Thursday and Friday is welcome. Some people are horrified by a mouse, others by an accident or the thought of a ghost But there are few who will not pale at the sight of a dead body seen unexpectedly, as happens in the climax to this exciting picture.. The cast which portrays “The Secret of the Blue Room” is a good one, led by proved and popular actors like Lionel Atwill, Paul Lukas and Gloria Stuart. The action is in a castle. Twenty years before three unaccountable deaths took place each at one in the morning in one room. It was closed thereafter until a young man dared its secret to win a woman’s favour. What happens then makes “The Secret of the Blue Room” worth seeing.
