SANDERS CUP RETURNED

CANTERBURY HOLDER ACCEDES. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, Sept. 28. The holder of the Sanders Cup, the Canterbury Sailing and Power Boat Association, decided at the annual meeting to accede to the' request from the Auckland Yacht and Motor Boat Association for the return of the trophy. The Auckland association wishes to return it to the donors, Messrs. Walker and Hall, who have decided to transfer control of the cup to the New Zealand Yachting Council, with which Auckland has not affiliated.
