COASTAL MOVEMENTS. The Hauturu left Onehunga at 6 p.m. yesterday for New Plymouth, but was not expected to cross the bar before this morning. She is due late this evening, and after discharge of 150 tons of general cargo is to sail to-morrow afternoon for Wanganui., (Northern Co.) The Kaimai is due at New Plymouth from Greymouth, via Wellington, tomorrow. She is to discharge 100 tons of coal and a quantity of general cargo, sailing later in the day for Wellington. (U.S.S. Co.).

The Kini is to leave Westport today with 300 tons of coal for discharge at New Plymouth. She is due oh Thursday and will sail the same day for Wellington. (U.S.S. Co.). The Holmglen is to load at Wellington to-day and is due at New Plymouth, via Wanganui, on Friday with 100 tons of general cargo. She will sail the same day for Port Waikato. (Hooker Bros.) The Opihi is to load at Lyttelton today, and is due at New Plymouth on Saturday, via Lyttelton, Wellington and Nelson. (U.S.S. Co.).

MOVEMENTS OF OVERSEAS’ SHIPS.

PORT HUNTER SAILS TO-DAY.

The Port Hunter, which arrived at New Plymouth on Sunday, is to sail today for Wanganui, having completed discharge of 650 tons of general cargo from United Kingdom and Continental ports and loaded 10,000 boxes of butter, 6000 crates of cheese and 3000 freight carcases of meat. Her other loading ports in New Zealand are Timaru, Wellington, Napier and Auckland. INVERBANK DISCHARGING. The Inverbank is to complete discharge to-day of 1050 tons of bitumen from Tampico and is to sail this afternoon for Wellington, Dunedin and Australian ports to complete. RUAHINE AT WELLINGTON. The Ruahine is due at Wellington today from Napier in continuation of her New Zealand loading itinerary, and is due at New Plymouth on Friday morning. At New Plymouth she is to load 2700 boxes of butter and 2000 crates of cheese, and is to complete at Auckland. She is to clear Auckland for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via Panama,, on October 7. KALINGO DUE MONDAY. The intercolonial steamer Kalingo, which left Melbourne on September 19 for Auckland, Wellington and New Plymouth, arrived at Auckland at midnight last night, She is due at New Plymouth to discharge on Monday. KARAMEA FOR NEW ZEALAND. The motor-ship Karamea is scheduled to leave Liverpool on October 21 with cargo from west coast ports of Great Britain for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and New Plymouth. She is due at Auckland on November 25 and at New Plymouth about December 18. MAHANA CLEARED MONTEVIDEO. The Mahana, which left Auckland for London and west coast ports of Great Britain, via Montevideo and Teneriffe, on September 2, is reported to have cleared Montevideo last Saturday. The vessel loaded at New Plymouth on August 19. THE ABEL TASMAN. The Norwegian steamer Nord, which has been purchased by H. C. Sleigh, Ltd., Sydney, for the intercolonial cargo trade, arrived at Melbourne from Europe on September 8 with a cargo of Baltic timber. After discharge the vessel will proceed to Sydney for refitting before , she loads at New South Wales ports for New Zealand. She will be renamed Abel Tasman. -She is a vessel of 2042 tons and was built at Ambacht, Holland. Her first name was Mont Blanc. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS.
