WANGANUI TEAM AT PATEA. FAST, OPEN DISPLAY GIVEN. Wanganui Technical Old Boys seniors beat Patea by 13 points to 12 at Patea on Saturday. The game, which was closely contested, was a fast open display. The visitors were a little slow to find their feet and at half-time were 9 —3 down. In the second half the light, fast pack' was seen to advantage. Tries were scored for Patea by T. Broughton (2), ,P. Bourke and D. Broughton. Brown, Blakely and Briscoe scored tries for Wanganui, two of which Brown converted.
