WAITARA SPRING FLOWER SHOW.

Arrangements are well in hand in connection with the Waitara spring flower show to be held on September 8 and 9 .Schedules are now available, and already numerous inquiries have been received for their dispatch to various parts of Taranaki. The schedule is an interesting one, and caters for both young and old. This year the society is fortunate in obtaining the services of Mr. A., Chrystal, Eltham, as judge for the daffodil sections, he being well known throughout New Zealand for his great interest in bulbs, and for the capable manner in which he performs his duties as judge. Valuable trophies have again been donated, which will be on view in Mr. Appleby’s window, Waitara, on Friday next, and keen competition is anticipated in all sections. Schedules may be obtained from Mr. D. H, Purdie’s shop, or from the secretaries.
