How does a happily married woman spend her time ? This question has been answered by a Finnish statistical bureau. It is estimated that the ideal mother “who has six children and has been happily married for 20 years,” has: Delivered and received 72.000 kisses; darned 28.000 pairs of stockings and socks; and made the family beds 29,000 times.
