INTOXICATED DRIVER’S GUILT

CAUSED BROTHER-IN-LAW'S DEATH MERCY RECOMMENDATION BY JURY By Telegraph—Press Association. Invercargill, Last Night. Hugh Healey was found guilty in the Supreme Court to-day of being intoxicated while in control of a motor-car and, by his failure to exercise proper care, causing the death of Samuel George Inder, his brother-in-law. Healey was remanded for sentence. The jury strongly recommended mercy on the ground of the mental stress Healey must have suffered through the death of his brother-in-law.
