GOLFING AT OPUNAKE
SOME SURPRISE RESULTS. The week-end golf at Opunake created some surprises. The junior championship was a keen contest, finishing just before 6 p.m. The results are:— Intermediate championship: Dudley defeated L. M. Stephensen 10 and 8. Junioi- championship: Dormer defeated McCrone 1 up at the 36th hole. Medal round: C. O. Edmonds 75—12— 63, D. Thomas 84—15—69, P. Harding 95—24—71, Fr. Kennedy. 88—16—72, D. Watt 99—24—75, E. Craighead 95—20—75, G. Feaver 90—14—76, G. Ctmdy 89—10— 79, R. Peat 106—25—81, J. Morris 114—20— 84.
