INTER-SCHOOL MATCHES.

A basketball and a football team from Fraser Road school visited Normanby school on Friday afternoon. A weakened Normanby basketball team won comfortably by 14 points to 10. The football match resulted in a win for Fraser Road by 19 to nil. Tries? were scored by M. Death (3),. N. Reid and G. Graham, and G. Graham converted two tries.,

A very successful euchre party in aid of the Anglican Church funds was held in the Fraser Road hall on Friday evening. The prize-winners were Mrs. McGarva 1, Miss E. Sanderson 2, Miss D. Sanderson travelling prize, Mrs. J. Thompson consolation; Mr. I. Campbell 1, Mr. S. Death 2, Mr. G. Graham travelling, Mr. H. Sharp consolation.. Mr. H. Barron won the turkey. A Monte Carlo dance was won by Mrs. R. Scown and Mr. Vickridge.
