INTER-SCHOOL RUGBY MATCH
SCHOOL TO MEET SACRED HEART. The New Plymouth Boys’ High School first fifteen will play the Sacred Heart (Auckland) College team at Pukekura Park to-morrow. Changes in the. inside backs have been made in the New Plymouth team. Sacred Heart has performed well in the Auckland second schools’ competition. The teams are:— School: Blackley; Rowlands, Ekdahl, Lucas; Mclntyre, Christensen; Meredith (captain); Keeling; Weston, Whittington, Batten, Simpson; Allan, Hore, Healy. Reserves: Backs, J. Simpson, Ulenberg; forward, N. Waters. Sacred Heart: Hare; Kowe, Wordsworth, Reid; Petrie, Regan; Nelson; McHugh, Woodlock, Dunn; Molloy, Bailey; Shanahon , McDonald, Bond. Reserves: Crowley, Coupe and Carroll. j In the School team Meredith, who played first five-eighth against St. Patrick’s College at Hawera on July 1, has been moved into half. Christensen and Mclntyre are newcomers to the fiveeighth line and the threequarters and the full-back are unchanged Whittington replaces Meston in the forwards. COLLEGE AND HIGH SCHOOL DRAW In the annual Rugby fixture, Christ’s College and Christchurch Boys’ High School drew six-all. The College points came from penalty kicks and High School scored unconverted tries ( The St. Patrick’s College team defeated by Wellington College is not the side which beat New Plymouth High School. This was St. Patrick’s Silverstream College (boarding pupils) side, whereas the team beaten by Wellington College was that from the day scholars’ college of St. Patrick’s, situate in Wellington city.
