ANOTHER POSSIBLE RECORDED. NEW PLYMOUTH MEN’S The junior button in the competitions conducted by the men's miniature branch of the New Plymouth Defence Rifle Club was won this week, by S. Bird. With one shoot to. go the following are leading for the second B grade handicap trophy: W. Gilbert 209], F. Huthnance and S. Bird each 207]. A possible was scored by S. G. Higgs. RESULTS IN LADIES’ BRANCH. At the ladies’ shoot on Tuesday night the senior button was won by Miss P. Hogg again with 69, while Miss F. Hogg won the junior button with 65. The .scores in the championships were: Seniors: P. Hogg 69, C. Kretschmar 68, A. Bell 66, I. Papps 65, S. Papps 63, R. Death 61, N. Beal 53. Juniors: F. Hogg 65, G. Gillespie 64, E. Linn 60, A. Florence 58, M. Lawn 56, L. Burton 53. Next week will see the completion of the second senior handicap competition. Miss P. Hogg is at present leading. The scores this week were:— P.
