BURIED BY FALL OF EARTH. KAWARAU GORGE DISCOVERY. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, July 20. It being noticed that bread was not taken in since Monday, inquiries were made concerning two unemployed relief miners camped in the Kawarau Gorge, Thomas Cochrane and Livingstone. Searchers found that an earth fall in the mine had buried both men. Their bodies were recovered.
