DUFF ROSE BOWL COMPETITION. FIXTURES, REFEREES AND TEAMS. Fixtures and referees in the Association football competition for the Duff Rose Bowl on Saturday are as follow:— Albion v. Waitara, at Fitzroy, Mr. W. Johnston. Stratford v. Caledonians, at Stratford, Mr. T. Farley. Pirates v. Moturoa, at New Plymouth racecourse, Mr. R. J. Page. Teams will be as follow:— Albion: Nicoll; Wood, Rendall; Jemison, Parkinson, Berry; Bannister, Phillips, Ibbotson, Atchley, Upshall. Caledonian: Plumb, Bennoch, Fagan, McKay, Lawson, White, Strain, Marr, Harris, Sewell, Gardner, Payne, Rae, Hill, Shepherd, Cumming, Prentice. Team to meet at the fire station at 1 p.m. Pirates: Harrold, Atkinson, Hampton, Henry, Anderson, Oscroft, Pankhurst, Milne, Dean, Wilmshurst, Cole, Parrish (2), Ryan, Smith, Suthon, Nicol, Lynch. Moturoa: W. Kenny, A. Bensley, Roy Johns, H. Johns, J. Thompson, R. Roper, F. Roper, A. Smith, J. Anderson, T. Koti, R. Christensen, C. White. PRIMARY SCHOOL TEAMS. Primary school teams to play at the New Plymouth racecourse on Saturday morning are:— Fitzroy A: Styles; Thurling, K. West End A: Royce; Low, Hoben; Rosser, Baldwin, Malcolm; Hadfield, Childs, Bennett, Stokell, Parker. West End B: Remaining West End players. ALBION v. CALEDONIAN. MATCH TO BE REPLAYED. The circumstances surrounding the abandonment of the Duff Rose Bowl match at Fitzroy on Saturday between Albion and Caledonians were investigated in committee by the executive of the Taranaki Football Association at New Plymouth last night. Present were Mr. J. W. Hollows (chairman), Dr. D. E. Brown, Messrs G. R. Roper, R. J. Page, W. Shepherd, V. Parkinson, W. Johnston and J. W. Chapman (secretary). After considering the report from the referee (Mr. G. Lawrence) it was decided to censure P. Gardner (Caledonian). It was further decided that the match would have to be replayed. The game, which was played in the rain, had been stopped by trie referee in the second half before full time. Albion was then leading by four goals to nil. TEAMS FOR COMPETITION GAMES' Teams to play in Association football games on Saturday include the following:— Stratford:—Versus Caledonians on Regan Street ground, 2.45 p.m.: Gibbs, C. Henderson, L. Jones, Pattenden, Jock Thompson, J. Jones, T. Blythe, Rorison, L. Henderson, Dow, Butt; reserves, Williams, Sandford, Gorringe.
