NATIONAL CARNIVAL WEEK
DECISION AT WELLINGTON. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A representative meeting.of commercial and social organisations of Wellington this afternoon, presided over by the Mayor, Mr. T. C. A. Hislop, endorsed a proposal for the holding of a national carnival at Wellington in the week commencing on October 23. The meeting formed itself into a general committee to further the project, which is to be on a big scale.
