NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB’S RESULTS. RETURN RACE TO INGLEWOOD. The New Plymouth Amateur Cycling Club’s road race from Avenue Road to Inglewood and back, a distance of 24 miles, resulted in another win for B. Oliver, off scratch, with D. Bond second and C. Hawken third. Details are:— B. Oliver (scr), lh 8m 40s 1 D. Bond (6m), lh 15m 12s 2 C. Hawken (lm), lh 10m 15s 3 Oliver gained fastest time. Bond, off 6m, held his lead to about Egmont Village on the homeward journey, where Oliver and Hawken caught him. They remained bunched till about two nples from home, when Oliver broke away to win easily from Bond, with Hawken a fair way back. Charteris crashed and received cuts and bruises to his legs and arms.
