COLDER, WET WEATHER
SOUTHERLY CHANGE PREDICTED. By Telegraph—Press Association.. Wellington, Last Night. The weather will be cloudy and unsettled with rain in most districts and some heavy falls, more especially from Cook Strait southward. Temperatures will still be mild, but will be cold in the far south and decreasing generally during to-morrow. A rather complicated depression covers the Tasman Sea and South Island, while barometers are rising in eastern Australia. There will be southerly winds south of Canterbury and northerly elsewhere, moderate to strong and of gale force in places. The wind will become southerly generally during the weekend. Seas will be rough.
