WAITARA LADIES’ GOLF
MATCH AGAINST FITZROY. A team of 16 lady golf players visited Fitzroy on Wednesday and had an enjoyable day. The Waitara team won seven matches, one being unfinished owing to darkness. The games resulted: — Mrs. Whyte and Mrs. Dunbar beat Mrs. Hurford and Mrs. Dennes. Mrs. Knight and Miss Gorrie beat Mrs. Johnston and Mrs. Jacka. Miss Foreman and Miss Wills beat Mrs. Weir and Mrs. Rowe. Mrs. Armstrong and Mrs. Prichard beat Mrs.' Medhurst and Miss Guscott. Mrs. Purdie and Mrs. Priar beat Mrs. Ivell and Mrs. Wagstaff. Miss Allen and Mrs. E. George beat Mrs. White and Mrs. Croll. Mrs. Bennett and Mrs. Hamlin beat Mrs. Rollo and Miss Free. Miss Gaw and Miss Wakely v. Mrs. Quickfall and Miss Clark (unfinished).
