As a result of the simultaneous raiding of several town premises by the police yesterday afternoon four persons were charged in the Magistrate’s Court this morning with keeping common gaming houses. Fines were imposed as follows: Arthur Clark £25, Charles Schou £75, Arthur Lawrence Lambess £5O. The case of Sydney Raymond Bowyer was adjourned until July 24, bail being fixed at £5O. Of four others charged with being found on these premises one was fined £l. One case was dismissed and two were adjourned.
