ROAD RACE HANDICAPS

CYCLE AND ATHLETIC LEAGUE. Handicaps have been declared by Mr. L. E. Smith for the race to be conducted on Saturday by the New Plymouth Cycle and Athletic Club, this being the first of a series of six races for the cup and the miniature cup presented by Mr. A. Yardley, W. Weir, 305.; C. Aroa, T. Hookham, lm.; G. Plucke, H. Eva, IJm.; L. Tuffery, B. Berryman, T. Smith, F. Fitzpatrick, 2m.; E. Standing, B. Sole, L. Lambeth, L. Standing, 3m. B grade race, to monument at Bell Block and back, 4J miles (first of a series of six races for the club’s cup and trophy presented by Mr. Des. George): Doug. George, scr.; A. Reeve, L.
