BURGLARIES AT AUCKLAND
SEVERAL PREMISES ENTERED.

Auckland, July 10.
Four houses in the city were entered by a burglar early yesterday morning and several pounds were stolen in each house'. The intruder entered several rooms and twice he was nearly caught when sleepers awakened. A thief also entered the vestry of St. Matthew’s Church last evening and stele two suitcases, also money from coats.
