The Opihi, from Dunedin, Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Nelson arrived at New Plymouth on Saturday morning and should sail for southern ports about midnight. (U.S.S. Co.). The Alexander is due at New Plymouth from Westport to-morrow afternoon to discharge 300 tons of coal. She will sail south on Wednesday. (U.S.S. Co.). The John loaded at Dunedin on May 25 for New Plymouth, via Timai-u, Lyttelton, Wellington and Wanganui. She is due at New Plymouth on Wednesday and will sail the same day for Port Waikato. (Hooker Bros.). The Kiwitea loads 615 tons of coal at Greymouth for New Plymouth, and is due to-day. She will sail for Auckland this evening. (U.S.S. Co.). The Nobel schooner Huia was to leave Auckland on Thursday with explosives for New Plymouth and Greymouth. The Huia’s arrival is uncertain, as she is delayed by adverse winds. She will sail later for Greymouth, thence Melbourne. The Storm, en route from, Wanganui to Westport, anchored off the port on Saturday night, and sailed yesterday morning. She was unable to round the Cape, however, and returned to New Plymouth, berthing at the Newton King wharf at 4.30 p.m. yesterday. MOVEMENTS OF OVERSEAS SHIPS. THE PARRACOMBE DELAYED. The Parracombe, which was due at New Plymouth on Saturday, was delayed by adverse winds and did not arrive until 8.30 yesterday morning. She was berthed at the Newton King wharf at 10 a.m. The Parracombe is to discharge 300 tons of phosphate, and is expected to sail for Wanganui on Friday. Captain J. J. Hall is in charge of the ship, and his officers are: First mate, Mr. L. Storm; second, Mr. M. England; third, Mr. J. Barton; chief steward, Mr. W. M. Green; chief engineer, Mr. W. H. Hay; second, Mr. T. Marks; third, Mr. C. Logan; fourth, Mr. W. Gough. PORT VICTOR FOR NEW PLYMOUTH. Advice has been received that the Port Victor, which left London in ballast on May 2 for New Zealand, will now load at New Plymouth. Her allotment will be 16,500 boxes of butter and 7300 crates of cheese and the vessel is due at New Plymouth about June 19. PORT PIRIE SCHEDULED TO LOAD. The New Plymouth agents have received advice that the Port Pirie, which left Shields on May 13 for New Zealand, will load at New Plymouth. She is due about July 10 and will load 10,800 boxes of butter and 5200 crates of cheese. SURREY SAILS FROM PANAMA. The en route from Liverpool to Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and New Plymouth, has cleared Panama. She is due at Auckland on June 16 and at New Plymouth on June 30. The vessel’s allotment at New Plymouth is 6800 boxes of butter and 3700 crates of cheese MAIMOA TO LOAD. The Maimoa, now en route from London to Dunedin, Lyttelton, Timaru, and New Plymouth, will commence her loading during discharge at New Plymouth about June 20, and will later complete at Napier, Gisborne, Opua, Auckland and Wellington.
