130 PEOPLE DIE IN DESERT

The Nairobi correspondent of the Times states that 130 Somali men, women and children died of thirst in crossing from the Jubaland Province into Kenya. They were a section of the populace desiring to remain British subjects, as they were before the secession of the province to Italy, and they set out to migrate into. Kenya.
They divided into two parties, one of which arrived safely. The se|arch for the other party revealed that 130 had died, while the remainder are in a distressing condition.
