SHOWERS DEVELOPING

NORTHERLY WINDS FRESHENING. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The weather is expected to be fair to fine generally at first, but with showers developing to-morrow in western districts, from Kawhia southwards. Temperatures will be cold to-night but milder to-morrow. An anti-cyclone extends from New Zealand eastwards, while a rather deep depression is still located over the southwest Tasman. Winds will probably be light and variable at first but northerlies will soon prevail and gradually freshen. Seas in New Zealand waters will be smooth to moderate, but later rising south of Cape Egmont. In the eastern Tasman Sea moderate but increasing northerly winds with moderate but rising seas are expected.
