DRAW FOR THE JULIAN CUP. ‘ COMPETITION STARTS SATURDAY. Matches for the Julian Cup Association football competition will commence on Saturday. There will be one round only. The resuscitated Stratford team and the new team at Waitara will compete with the four New Plymouth senior teams. In the following draw for fixtures the home teams are mentioned first (the grounds will be allocated at the meeting of the Taranaki Football Association to be held at New Plymouth tonight):— May 6: Stratford v. Albion, at Stratford; Caledonians v. Waitara, at New Plymouth; Moturoa v. Pirates, at New Plymouth. May 13: Caledonians v. Stratford, at New Plymouth; Waitara v. Moturoa, at Waitara; Pirates v. Albion, at New Plymouth. May 20: Stratford v. Pirates, at Stratford; Albion-v. Waitara, at New Plymouth; Moturoa v. Caledonians, at New Plymouth. May 27: Waitara v. Stratford, at Waitara; Caledonians v. Pirates, at New Plymouth; Albion v. Moturoa, at NewPlymouth. . ' June 10: Stratford V. Moturoa, at Strata ford; Albion v. The weather was fine but the course was heavy for the L.G.U. match played at the Waiwakaiho links yesterday. The best cards returned were:— Senior.
