The Weekly Dispatch says that, the Irish Free State parties are preparing for a great fight at the local body elections in June. It will be similar to the general election. _ . The Fianna Fail , (de Valera Party) is attempting to obtain complete control, Mr. de Valera believing that his programme cannot be achieved while councils elected in Mr. Cosgrave’s time are administering counties and refusing to fix rates, thereby hampering his activities. Cosgrave supporters are aiming to prove that the people want to end the economic war with Britain and desire the restoration of ordinary markets.
