The Meredith Cup annual football match between Rahotu and Okato was played at the Okato domain on Saturday afternoon. After a keen struggle the game ended in a draw, three-all. Mr. S. Roebuck was referee. An unfortunate accident occurred during the progress of the game, L. King, of the Okato team, receiving a severe blow on the hip.
